Nigel Young

Nigel joined the Vet Centre in 2021 working at the Cherry Lane surgery.  After qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College in 1986 Nigel spent the next 15 years in small animal practice, including several years working for the PDSA animal charity.  This was followed by 20 years working in the field of veterinary pathology although during this time he continued to do some practice work, mostly at emergency night and weekend clinics.

Outside of work his main interests include cycling, walking, dancing, playing chess and wildlife photography with a particular passion for Butterflies.
